WHO WE ARE and WHAT WE BELIEVE:
Who We Are:
Freedom Healing Room is a ministry of Freedom Christian Center. Our team is here to serve the community and the Body of Christ while seeking to encounter God and His endless love of every person. The team will minister the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, including the impartation for healing. We believe there is power in the Word of God and God’s promises to us. We release that power by declaring truth and allowing the Holy Spirit to encounter each person who seeks Him.

We Believe:
- Faith does not deny reality. Faith faces reality with trust and hope.
- Christ's healing virtue is much more powerful than the strength of any disease.
- The act of faith is not only a physical act; It includes the exercise of the heart and mind toward God.
- The prayer of faith is believing. Our prayer is heard before the answer materializes- before the answer is manifested.
- Faith refuses to see anything contrary to the Word of God.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN THE HEALING ROOM:
- You will be taken into the prayer room. A team of two or three team members will be able to listen, encourage, pray with, and minister to you. These volunteers are not operating as licensed professionals of counseling, therapy or medical.
- You will be asked to stand to receive prayer. If necessary, you may sit.
- The team members will pray for you according to the information on your Personal Information Sheet.
- The team will be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit in praying for you.
- Stay relaxed and do not pray. Try to put yourself in a place of receiving all God has for you today.
- We cannot anticipate how your encounter with God will come. You may experience the presence of God in a subtle way, or your experience may be a more powerful one. The important thing is that you remain sensitive to God’s Spirit no matter how He chooses to manifest Himself to you.
- God is love and everything He has for you is good. Relax and bask in His presence as you would bask in the sunshine. Allow Him to speak to your heart as the team prays over you.
- At times one of the team members may have a word for you that they believe God has spoken to them. Listen to the word and judge for yourself if it is in agreement with scripture and that there is a witness of the Spirit in your heart. Prophetic words are always conditional to God’s timing and to your response to the word that was shared.
- During the time of prayer, if you are asked to test out something physically, we ask that you only do what you feel comfortable doing and what is safe for you to do at that time or location.
- Please be honest and open when the team asks questions about what your are experiencing or how you are feeling.
- We also ask that you allow your medical doctor, therapist, counselor, etc., to confirm any results from prayer received before altering any current prescribed course of action or treatment.
- With humble hearts, we count it a privilege to have been able to pray for you today. Our hope and prayers are that you will be blessed by the presence of God today and that He will work a miracle in your heart and your body as you encounter Him.
