The Values of Freedom Christian Center

  1. Love: We value the commands of Jesus regarding love given in Mt. 22:37-40: to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength and to love our neighbor as our self. On these two commands hang all the law and the prophets. We value His summary in Mark 12:31, “There is no commandment greater than these.” (1 Cor 13:1-13:13; 1 Cor. 16:14; Jn 15:11-13; Ro. 13:10; 1 Jn 4:18-21)
  2. Prayer: We value a vital personal prayer life to enable the spiritual growth of every believer, extending into corporate prayer and intercession to bring Kingdom plans and purposes to pass in our region and the nations of the earth. (Mt. 21:13; Dan. 9:3; Mt. 21:22; Mt. 6:6; Phil. 4:6; Col. 4:2)
  3. Praise: We value a passionate personal attitude of praise and thanksgiving in every believer, resulting in extravagant corporate praise and worship, including dance, drama and other arts to express the love of the Bride (the church) for the Bridegroom (Jesus). (Ps. 149; Ps. 150:4-6; Jn. 4:23; Amos 9:11; Ex. 15:2; Ps. 113:3; Rev. 4:8-11)
  4. Prophetic: We value the office of the prophet to bring encouragement, correction, and direction to the church; we value the revelatory gifts of the Holy Spirit including prophecy that edifies, encourages, and strengthens. (1 Pet. 1:19; Deu. 18:18; Jer. 1:5; 1 Tim. 4:14; 2 Pet. 1:21; Rev. 1:3; Eph. 4:11,12; 1 Cor. 14:3)
  5. Apostolic: We value the office of the apostle that brings leadership and oversight of churches and church leaders, training and equipping leaders; prophetic direction and encouragement; teaching of right doctrine; mobilization of believers to care for the needy, helpless, and neglected; and a commitment to impacting unreached people with the Gospel. (Eph. 4:11,12; Ro. 1:1; Lk. 6:13; 2 Cor. 12:12; Eph. 2:20; 1 Cor. 12:28)
  6. Restoration: We value the ministry of caring and discerning counselors under the power of the Holy Spirit to restore broken lives and families and build a solid foundation for life through Christ-like character in every believer. (Ps. 80:3; Joel 2:25; Gal. 6:1; Is. 61:1; Eph. 2:10; Ro. 7:24-25; Mt. 10:8; Acts 3:20-21)
  7. Training and Equipping: We value the impartation of knowledge, wisdom and grace from God through anointed instructors into every believer that empowers them to reach their destiny in Christ. (Eph. 4:12; Pr. 22:6; Ex. 18:20; Dt. 6:7; Ps. 25:4,5; Pr. 9:9; Jn. 14:26; 2 Tim. 2:2)
  8. Truth: We value truth in the “inward” parts of every believer (Ps. 51:6) as well as it being expressed by God’s people in excellence and character. We desire clear truth with un-blurred edges. We value accuracy in the preaching, teaching, and handling of God’s Word. (Ps. 51:6; James 1:25; Ps. 119:4,9; Jn. 8:32; 3 Jn. 4; Pr. 12:17)
  9. Bridging Generations: We value each generation, equipping them to walk righteously and live righteously, thus preparing them to face an ever-changing world. We value building bridges between the generations to close the gaps that our culture has created. (Dt. 6:4-9; Ps. 145:4; Ps. 71:18; Mal. 4:5,6; Ps. 24:6; Is. 58:12)
  10. The supernatural: We value the supernatural manifestations of God in signs, wonders, healings, gifts of the Spirit, and other unique ways that He reveals Himself. We value the reality of people encountering a supernatural God. (Joel 2:28-32; 1 Cor. 12:1-11; Mk. 16:20; Ex. Chap. 4-11; Mt. 8:16,17)
  11. The Assembled House of God: We value the giftedness and uniqueness of each person and the assembly of these “living stones” into a spiritual house. (1 Pet. 2:4,5; 1 Pet. 4:10; Ps. 139:14; Heb. 10:24,25)
  12. Giving: We value the joy of giving to God His tithes and our offerings, and we value the satisfaction of living a generous life that focuses on missions and remembers the poor. (Mal. 3:10; Lk. 6:38; Mt. 10:28; Pr. 11:25; 22:9; 1Tim. 6:18; Is. 32:8; 2 Cor. 9:5-8; Pr. 10:22)
  13. Creativity: We value entering the throne room of God and accessing His infinite creativity that is yet to be revealed through his people in every area and facet of life. (Gen. 1:1; Ex. 36:2; Mk. 10:27; Heb. 11:1; Rev. 4:1-8; Eph. 3:20; Lk. 5:4-7)
