3 - 5 Year Old Class

Class time:  3:45-4:30 pm.  Please call the office for class availability.

This class has been designed especially for 3-5 year old girls and boys.  Our structured 45 minute class incorporates all aspects of dance training.  We utilize Christian music to help keep the childrens' focus on Jesus Christ and ultimately prepare them for dance ministry.  Our class currently has one adult dance instructor and two adult teaching assistants.  Please read further for class highlights and dress requirements for our class.

Highlights of our class:

• Open with prayer
• A creative time of stretching
• A time of movement across the floor teaching specific dance skills
• Center floor combinations
• Short and fun choreographed dances
• A time of Praise and Worship utilizing streamers, banners, billow cloths and scarves.
• Monthly prizes

Attire Requirements/Dress Code - GIRLS:

• Pink or Black Leotard
• Pink or Black Ballet Skirt
• Pink Tights
• Pink Ballet Shoes (Leather)
  • Ballet shoes may not be the bedroom slipper-type made with a terrycloth material-these are not safe in class.
  • Ballet shoes must be properly fitted to the child's foot without excess room at the toe.
  • Laces to be double knotted, trimmed to a length not to exceed 1 1/2" and tucked inside the shoe.
• Hair pulled backed away from the face (ballet bun is preferred).

• Black pants or legging
• White Shirt
• White or Black Socks
• Black Ballet Shoes (Leather)
