Our History

Freedom Christian Center began February 7, 1987. It started out of a fresh move of the Holy Spirit on the lives of Pastors Tim and Kelly Franklin. Their encounter with the Holy Spirit caused FREEDOM to resound in their hearts. From a group of 20 people, Freedom Christian Center has continued to grow and to impact the lives of thousands of people around the globe.

From the beginning, Freedom has had a global vision. In March of 1987, Pastors Jay and Linda Threadgill's ministry to Haiti (Fishers of Men, International) united with FCC. Then in 1988, Pastor Mike and Pat Black joined the Church and began preparations for Mike Black Ministries in Guatemala.

We have affiliated ourselves with many of the post-denominational moves of God. We are continually moved by the gift of the prophetic and the move of God that corresponds to it. Currently, we sense God restoring the office of the apostle and the grace that comes with it. We have been accessing this grace through apostles that Pastor Tim has met in his international travels and through contacts that he has made.

Redigging the Wells is a 4-message series (mp3 format) all about Freedom Christian Center and its roots.  Pastor Tim shares the history, divine appointments, significant milemarkers, prophetic history and vision. 

Redigging the Wells is given to all those who participate in our 4-week CONNECT 101 Class.
