Introduction:
· God wants us to drip with his presence.
·Ps 52:8 But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God;NKJV
· Prov 21:20 There is desirable treasure, And oil in the dwelling of the wise, NKJV
· Job 29 4-ff. Description of a man walking in the anointing.
o What did he do to get that? Four things that we will look at.
o What did he do to get his stuff back? His anointing.
1. A Look at Job (four traits that defined Job’s life.)
a. He was blameless
i. Heb – tam, complete, morally innocent, having integrity; one who is morally and ethically pure
b. He was righteous
i. Hebrew – yasar- righteous
ii. Literally. "To go straight or direct in the way" (1 Sam 6:12), but more frequently "to make (a way) straight," i.e. direct and level and free from obstacles,
iii. A fuller phrase "to do what is right (hayy¹š¹r, the right) in the eyes of the Lord" is linked with obedience to his commands (Ex 15:26; Deut 6:17-18) and covenant (Deut 12:28; Deut 13:18 ). (Theological Wordbook of the Old Testament.)
c. He had the fear of the Lord
i. Reverence and awe of God. Also fear as in scared of God.
d. He hated evil
i. Heb- curw—to turn aside from, or away from.
2. A Look at Those Who Drip
a. Biblical
i. Peter James and John.
1. Acts 4:13-14 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus. 14 And seeing the man who had been healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it. NKJV

ii. Luke 1:19 "I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and was sent to speak to you and bring you these glad tidings. NKJV
b. Historical
i. Moravians—began a 100 year prayer meeting—24/7. They would sell themselves into slavery just to get the ship ride to the West Indies to minister to the slaves.
ii. EM Bounds preacher during the time of Lincoln.
iii. Smith Wigglesworth—incredible man of prayer and a man of one book. The Bible was the only thing he would read.
c. Current
i. David Yongi Cho prays about 5 hours a day. He slogan, “Pray –Obey!”
ii.
d. What does it mean?
i. It means that if you want anointing you have to stay close to God.
ii. It means you have to walk in obedience

iii. Walking with God is a key to fresh oil.
