Heb. 9:24
Introduction:
· Sometimes we need to hear that God is for us and not against us. This is one of those days. Heb. 9:24b says that He appeared in the presence of God for us.
o It is good to know that Jesus showed up for us in heaven before the throne of God.
o It is good to know that Jesus showed up for us!
o It is good to know that Jesus got into the face of God for us!
· It is good to have a hero—one who fights for us. One who represents us in the wake of insurmountable odds.
· The writer of the book of Hebrews is presenting the finished work of Christ to a church that is being persecuted and abandoning its faith. He insists that there is nothing in this world that is worth more than the Better Sacrafice-Jesus, the Better High Priest-Jesus, The Better Blood-Jesus’.
· Lets encourage ourselves in the Word this morning.
